When Music Speaks, based out of Miami, is a blog about national and local alternative/underground music news, reviews, interviews, and photos. We are passionate about bringing the artists' stories forward and presenting them to the fans.   

 

Founder Hali Neal has been writing about music since 2012 and has written for AXS.com, Miami ArtZine, Odyssey, Palm Beach ArtsPaper, Lifestyle Magazine, and Examiner.com. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with an area of concentration in Creative Writing from Florida International University. She has a passion for writing, psychology/mental health, photography and live music.
